Over the last 7–8 months I did leadgen from Instagram for 2–3 good marketing agencies/specialists. They're delighted looking at the leads. I even wondered: should I open one more agency that does leadgen for agencies?
Some don't even believe it
The interesting part is that some marketing agencies/specialists don't believe you can find customers from Instagram via performance. They provide this very service, yet don't believe in it themselves. That's one of the biggest gaps in the market.
One $50k deal — not fifty $1k ones
Selling up to $50k from Instagram is easy, there are cases. The key point: it's about one large deal — a single $50k deal, not fifty $1k ones. The economics of one big deal are entirely different.
With 3–4 minute videos it becomes much easier: the video explains the product to the customer, builds trust, and prepares them for a big decision. That's exactly why a substantive video, not a short creative, works in B2B.
Conclusion
The view that Instagram is only for cheap, mass products is wrong. With the right approach — a substantive video and a clear funnel — big B2B deals come from it too. Most important: data and the ability to work with it.
